My wife and I have been coming to Mediterra for years. But our last experience was awful. As usual, the service and atmosphere were good to great. But my meal was unsatisfactory. I ordered "HOUSE MADE MACCHERONI ALLโ AMATRICIANA: jersey tomato sugo, chili, pork guanciale, parmigiano". I ordered it without parmigiano. For $25 I received small bowl of penne in tomato sauce (picture attached). After I received it, I confirmed with my waitress that it was what I ordered. The portion was so small, I left the restaurant hungry. I am not expecting a three course meal for $25, but I would expect something that goes beyond what my wife can prepare for me in 10 minutes at our home and an adequate portion size. If we go to Mediterra again, it won't be for a long time.

The food does not match the vibe of the restaurant. I was expecting more from this place because Iโve been here before a couple of years ago and had a great experience the first time. To start off most of the dishes are pasta except for the lasagna? Their 3 small $14 Moroccan Meatballs were served cold (I guess thatโs how the dish is supposed to be made) and cold or not they werenโt good at all. However, the main dishes are good but thatโs it. Not amazing or great theyโre just good, but the way the restaurant presents itself youโd think itโd be a little more better tasting, and worth the price. I donโt know. Couldโve been better and Iโve had other dishes from this restaurant before and they were amazing! So maybe it was just the current menu.

My favorite restaurant for more than 20 years. I've come with friends, dates, family, and even colleagues. It's a classic, elevated Princeton staple located just a block from campus. There is a parking garage just behind it and another across the street. What makes this my favorite restaurant: 1. The food is outstanding. The debate at our table is whether we'll do all tapas or paella + papas bravas, our favorite tapa... crispy potatoes with an incredible, slightly spicy sauce (see photo). All of their tapas are excellent, as are their paella and entree specials (pictured are their John Dory fish and pasta carbonara dishes, as we didn't have the 30-35 minute wait time for paella this weekend). 2. The sangria, red and by the pitcher. Made with real fruit, not just juice. Enough said. 3. Outdoor seating on a lovely patio set back from the road. Inside, there is a variety of seating options, including bar seating, large communal high-tops, and regular dining room seating. 4. The people. In our 20+ years as patrons, there has been very little turnover, and our favorite server and bartenders are still here. That says a lot for how they treat their team. They know us, we know them, and w

The food was great and the service was excellent. We got the fried harissa sliders, Caesar salad, cod, and talgialette pasta. The pasta was a great sized portion but the rest were a little on the small side, but the flavors were perfect. We would come back next time weโre visiting Princeton
